Welcome to Raven's Readings. I'm reading from The Wind in the Willows, a children's novel written by the British writer, Kenneth Grahame. It's a collection, published in 1908, of bedside stories he had told his son, Alastair. These stories feature various animals, including Mole, Ratty, Badger, and their eccentric friend, Toad.
In the last chapter, Mole and Ratty went on an adventure with Toad, and were all to happy to get back home and recuperate. But now Mole is getting a little restless.
I do readings twice a weeks. Please subscribe to my Substack newsletter, you'll be notified of my updates as soon as they are ready. If you enjoy this reading, or have other classics you'd like to hear, leave me a comment.
Remember that you can manage here which sections of my SubStack you’ll receive emails for—fiction, Odds and Ends, Political Bytes, Podcastings, or all.
