Good morning, good afternoon, good evening. Welcome to Raven's Readings. And Happy Birthday to me today. For a present, you could leave some feedback, via comment or email. Maybe about length, genre, style, or a suggestion for the next novel.
I'm currently reading to you from Three Men in a Boat. It's a very descriptive account of a trip up the Thames, interspersed with numerous anecdotes, all told with a wry sense of humour. It was written in 1889 by Jerome K. Jerome.
In the last episode, there were steam launches and a disappearing Harris. Next will be George and his banjo, and some aggressive swans.
I do readings twice a week. Please subscribe to my Substack newsletter, and you'll be notified of my updates as soon as they are ready. If you enjoy this reading, or have other classics you'd like to hear, leave me a comment.
Remember that you can manage here which sections of my SubStack you’ll receive emails for—fiction, Odds and Ends, Political Bytes, Podcastings, or all.
