Welcome to Raven's Readings. This is Chapter 13 of The Inimitable Jeeves, a collection of short stories written by P.G. Wodehouse in 1923. Jeeves, a valet, and his employer Bertie Wooster, are all characters in dozens of these little vignettes that poke fun at the upper classes. . The stores are all told from the point of view of Bertie.

Last chapter Jeeves managed to get Bertie's friend Bingo out of an unwanted engagement. There are a lot of thse little disasters it seems in the life of Bertie and his friends. Next chapter, Bertie will leave London for the country, to enjoy some peace and quiet He hopes.
