Welcome to Raven's Readings. I'm reading from The Sign of the Four, written by Arthur Conan Doyle in 1890. This novel features his character, Sherlock Holmes, a detective who excels in observation, deduction, logic, and forensics. Assisting Holmes is Doctor John Watson. The Sherlock stories are narratives written from the POV of Watson, as he attempts to record and publicize Sherlock's work. This novel is the second in the series.

Last chapter, the party arrived at Pontecherry Lodge, only to discover that the treasure is missing, and Benjamin Sholto dead. Holmes has sent the brother, Thadeus, off to fetch the police, while he and Watson investigate.

I do readings twice a week, so this collection should take about six weeks. Please subscribe to my Substack newsletter, you'll be notified of my updates as soon as they are ready. If you enjoy this reading, or have other classics you'd like to hear, leave me a comment.
